Abstract

The printing and publishing industry has undergone significant changes in recent years due to the increasing digitalization of content and the shift towards online platforms. In this rapidly evolving industry, companies like RR Donnelley must continuously adapt their business strategies to stay ahead of the curve. One important aspect of this adaptation is the establishment of a hybrid work culture, which combines in-person and remote work arrangements.

The COVID-19 pandemic has accelerated the adoption of hybrid work models in many industries, including printing and publishing. Companies like RR Donnelley have had to quickly adapt their operations to accommodate remote work and virtual collaboration. However, even before the pandemic, there were already growing trends towards more flexible work arrangements, particularly among younger generations who prioritize work-life balance and personal autonomy.

Establishing a hybrid work culture is crucial for companies like RR Donnelley for several reasons as it allows organizations to attract and retain top talent by offering more flexibility and work-life balance. Employees who are able to work from home part of the time can better manage their personal and professional responsibilities, which can lead to increased job satisfaction and productivity. This can be particularly important for industries like printing and publishing, where employees may need to work irregular hours to meet deadlines or manage production schedules.

Convenience sampling method has been used in the research work. Multiple choice questions have been chosen to collect the responses from 130 respondents. The data collected has been analyzed through various statistical tools like Karl Pearson’s Correlation, Multiple regression and One-way Anova test. Numerous new findings have been derived from this research has helped to provide few suggestions to improve the work culture and implement decisions which increase productivity in RR Donnelley
